United Way of the Bluegrass names Frost Brown Todd as one of the “Top 5 Regional Workplace Campaigns” for Law Firms for their 2007 Contribution
April 11, 2008 (Lexington, KY) – Frost Brown Todd LLC, one of the region’s largest full-service law firms with over 375 Attorneys supported by over 500 professionals, was recently recognized by the United Way of the Bluegrass as one of the “Top 5 Regional Workplace Campaigns” for law firms for their 2007 Contribution Campaign efforts. This past year, the Lexington office experienced tremendous support by the attorneys and staff in various fundraising events, in addition to traditional donations. Activities included raffles for “Free Parking” and “Vacation Days”; Pumpkin Bowling; a $1-an-inch Tie Cutting Contest; Members make Breakfast; and other office-wide events.
Frost Brown Todd supports a variety of philanthropic endeavors, recognizing a firm commitment to corporate social responsibility. The Firm participates annually in the United Way of the Bluegrass fundraising campaigns.
The United Way of the Bluegrass’ mission is to “improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities.” Through campaigns and volunteering the United Way is able to raise awareness; money, goods, and services; match resources with those in need; and create initiatives to fill any gaps in between.
